KFC Rohloff Group is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Manager to lead the strategic development, maintenance, and performance of HVAC and refrigeration systems across its franchise network. This role is essential to ensuring energy efficiency, optimal environmental conditions, and uninterrupted restaurant operations.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:

Team Leadership

• Supervise and mentor a team of HVAC technicians and assistants, ensuring high performance, accountability, and continuous development.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to maintain technical excellence and safety awareness.

Maintenance Planning & Execution

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive preventative maintenance schedules for HVAS and refrigeration systems across all franchise locations.
• Ensure timely response to service requests and minimize equipment downtime.

Regulatory Compliance & Safety

• Ensure all HVAC/R operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular audits and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for staff and customers.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Liaise with external contractors, service providers, and suppliers to coordinate installations, repairs, and procurement of equipment.
• Negotiate service agreements and manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective and reliable support.

New Store Development

• Collaborate with project teams to design and implement HVAC and refrigeration systems for new store openings.
• Provide technical input during planning phases and oversee installation to ensure systems meet operational and energy efficiency standards.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Trade-certified in HVAC/Refrigeration.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven leadership in managing HVAC technicians and assistants.
• Develop and oversee maintenance schedules across multiple sites.
• Ensure full compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for installations and repairs.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of refrigeration systems in new stores.
• Experienced in new builds, large-scale repairs, and system installations.
• Strong interpersonal and team management skills.
• Experience with Taylor ice cream machines is a distinct advantage.
