ROLE SUMMARY
What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
Leveraging technology to enhance our RTM and B2B engagement is core to BAT’s continued transformation. As a member of the Information & Digital Technology (IDT) team, you will use your problem-solving skills, business acumen and knowledge of technology systems and processes to support in the successful delivery of the digital and business roadmap.
Working closely with stakeholders across many functions and markets, you will be responsible for executing the appropriate solution to fit the business requirement and manage the development and deployment through the application of agile practices.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
Key contributor to digital business solution planning and delivery roadmap, proposing technology solutions to maximise business value
Obtain a deep understanding of relevant business requirements to develop high-quality product requirements addressing the business, infrastructure, security, support, and operations needs
Understand technical options, limitations, costs and risks to effectively prioritise and communicate with stakeholders on key product decisions.
Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple projects in various environments, across all stages of delivery and across multiple markets/stakeholders
Coordinate deployment and testing of defined solutions in collaboration with the IT Operations/delivery team and other business stakeholders
Apply Lean / Agile methodologies, including lean business case creation, user story development, delivery & testing
Manage the Product release calendar in line with business timelines and dependencies in collaboration with local and above market teams.
Understands current and future business capabilities and determines corresponding solution designs to drive the organisation’s business outcomes
Leverage a ‘start-up’ mentality and approach to solutioning, implementing and experimenting with new technology solutions
Prepares and facilitates the evaluation and selection of partners and products through RFP/RFQ’s
Actively contribute to effective Steering Committees / Design Reference Groups across multiple markets
Implement & continually optimise cross-functional ways of working to accelerate solution / approach transformation
Work closely with the Solutions Architect to ensure a robust architectural runway is developed that can support future business requirements throughout the product lifecycle (stretch)
Work closely with product managers, product owners and architects to enable infrastructure agility, scalability and resilience to support required product needs throughout product lifecycle (stretch)
Immersed in emerging technology trends and their practical application to enable new and evolving business and operation models (stretch)
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
ESSENTIAL
Experience Required
Trade Marketing & Distribution (TMD) - preferably in FMCG / Commercial environments
Business to Business (B2B) - preferably in FMCG / Commercial environments
3+ years experience in a digital business analyst role (or equivalent)
Delivering transformational projects across multiple vendors/stakeholders – eg. Global Partners/Service Providers, internal development, COE teams, offshore.
Proven experience with agile methodology
Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required
Experience with Agile tools - Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence
Experience with key technologies used:
Salesforce – Experience, Commerce, Marketing Cloud, CRM
Microsoft – PowerApps, PowerBI
Integration – Mulesoft, Apigee
Other – SAP
Practical experience using BI/Data/Analytics including data modelling, translating data into usable value-added information
Clear, collaborative and pragmatic communication skills
Technology neutral – remains unbiased toward a specific technology or vendor choice, and is more interested in results than personal preferences
Displays intellectual curiosity and integrity
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
Bachelor’s degree – preferably within an IT-related discipline.
BENEFICIAL
SAFe Certification and experience working within Agile teams.
Comfortable working with enterprise-level platforms and technologies
