Job Description - Individual Life Case Administrator

A global health and life insurance organisation is seeking a skilled Individual Life Case Administrator to provide administrative assistance to the individual life division concerning the capturing, administration and management of individual life insurance cases.

This JHB based, in-office (hybrid) opportunity to work with a great business offers a solid and highly professional team to provide timeous and accurate administrative support to deliver efficient and professional client service within Service Level Agreements and legislative / compliance requirements.



Responsibilities:
  • Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements.

  • Complete all admin and reporting tasks accurately and on time.

  • Meet SLAs with stakeholders to manage client expectations effectively.

  • Capture data accurately in line with SLAs and data standards.

  • Manage email queries and follow up on outstanding client information.

  • Provide required information and documents per internal guidelines.

  • Maintain organised, accessible documentation.

  • Investigate broker queries and respond within SLA timeframes.

  • Suggest improvements for client service and fair treatment.

  • Support a culture of collaboration, feedback, and service excellence.

  • Report system/process issues and suggest enhancements.

  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with peers and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate effective planning, multitasking, and time management.



Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years' relevant experience in the life insurance industry
  • Proven experience working in the insurance or financial services industry
  • Completed financial or business qualification
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in life insurance products and services
  • Organised
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven track record of quality communication ability
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Respect for timelines and experience with deadline management
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to excel in a high-pressure setting
