Industrial Automation/OT Consultant

Accenture is seeking a dynamic Industrial Automation Consultant to join its Engineering practice. This role sits at the intersection of industrial engineering and digital transformation, supporting clients in modernizing their operational technology (OT) environments.

The position combines consulting, advisory, and system integration, with a strong focus on IT/OT convergence, industrial data platforms, cloud, and advanced analytics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Client Advisory & Digital Transformation

• Advise clients on industrial digital transformation strategies

• Support initiatives in:

• IT/OT convergence

• Smart manufacturing and connected operations

• Industrial data, AI, and cloud adoption

• Translate operational challenges into scalable technology solutions

2. Industrial Architecture & Design

• Design and develop industrial control system architectures (PLC, SCADA, DCS)

• Produce:

• Functional design specifications

• Detailed technical design documentation

• Define end-to-end OT architectures integrating shopfloor and enterprise systems

3. Systems Integration & Delivery

• Support implementation of industrial automation and digital solutions

• Integrate:

• Control systems

• Industrial networks

• Data and analytics platforms

• Participate in complex engineering projects, including deployment and commissioning support

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering electronic or electrical i.e. BSc or BEng from top tier university – (Please note that BTech is not been considered )

• Must demonstrate that the projects that have been worked on were at a complex level

• Preference with candidates who have heavy industry experience – mining, oil and gas, mining etc – However FMCG will be considered.

• High proficiency in English. Proficiency in other European languages is a plus.

• Must demonstrate leadership skills and self-motivation to engage with different assignments and fast paced projects.

• Must be willing to travel #LI-EU
