Industrial Engineer

Our client in automation is seeking a driven and analytical Industrial Engineer to join our Smart Manufacturing division. This role focuses on optimizing systems, improving processes, and enhancing organizational performance through the development of new processes and the continuous improvement of existing ones.

The successful candidate will support both internal operational improvement initiatives and client-facing industrial projects, contributing directly to efficiency, innovation, and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management

• Lead and manage projects within the business unit.
• Ensure comprehensive planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor execution against timelines and deliverables.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and improvement opportunities.

2. Internal Process Improvement

• Identify and document opportunities for process improvement.
• Engage stakeholders to align on improvement initiatives.
• Develop practical and innovative remedial solutions.
• Track implementation progress and adjust strategies based on performance outcomes.

3. Project Execution & Delivery

• Understand project-specific requirements and objectives.
• Implement effective, data-driven solutions.
• Adapt to diverse responsibilities across multiple projects.
• Document progress and communicate updates within agreed timelines.
• Continuously develop relevant technical and professional skills.

4. Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring

• Conduct in-depth data analysis aligned to project KPIs.
• Provide actionable insights into operational performance and efficiency.
• Validate data accuracy and ensure analytical integrity.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support informed decision-making.

Performance Metrics

• Billable Hours Utilization – Labour efficiency against available time.
• Total Hours Saved – Measurable efficiency gains achieved.
• Customer Satisfaction Score (CSAT) – Client service quality indicator.
• Skill Growth Achievement Rate – Progress against individual development plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel

Experience Required

• Minimum 2+ years experience in industrial engineering
• Demonstrated leadership or team mentorship experience
• Project management experience
• Exposure to multi-sector industrial environments (FMCG, Mining, Water, etc.)
