Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Relations (IR) Officer to join our Rosebank team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing IR matters across South Africa, working closely with our existing IR officer at the Sandton site. You will act as a key representative for Quantanite in various industrial settings, including partner engagements and formal representations at the CCMA and other hearings.
Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial Relations Management:
  


• Handle day-to-day IR issues and ensure compliance with South African labor laws and regulations.
  


• Represent Quantanite at CCMA hearings and other labor dispute resolution forums.
  


• Develop and implement effective IR strategies and policies.
  


• Stakeholder Engagement:
  


• Build and maintain strong working relationships with trade unions, regulatory bodies, and other key partners.
  


• Serve as the primary point of contact for IR matters at the Rosebank site.
  


• Collaborate with the existing IR officer to ensure consistency across sites.
  


• Policy Development & Implementation:
  


• Assist in the formulation and review of IR policies and procedures.
  


• Ensure all IR practices align with both local legal requirements and company objectives.
  


• Conflict Resolution & Dispute Management:
  


• Lead negotiations and mediate disputes to achieve amicable resolutions.
  


• Prepare comprehensive reports and case documentation for internal review and external hearings.
  


• Advisory & Training:
  


• Provide expert guidance and support to management and staff on IR-related matters.
  


• Conduct training sessions on labor relations, dispute resolution, and compliance best practices.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Law, or a related field.
  


• Demonstrated experience (minimum of 3-5 years) in industrial relations within South Africa, preferably within a BPO or similar environment.
  


• Proven track record in representing companies at CCMA hearings and handling complex IR issues.
  


• Strong understanding of South African labor laws and dispute resolution mechanisms.
  


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
