Installations Technician

The company is seeking an Installation Technician for the Installations Department, responsible for installing advanced electronic equipment into various vehicles, such as motorbikes, trucks, buses, and plant machinery. The role requires completing tasks assigned by the scheduling department efficiently and to the companys high standards. The candidate must support the organization, department staff, other departments, and regional branches when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install advanced electronic units into various vehicle types, including motorbikes, trucks, buses, and plant machinery, adhering to company quality standards.
• Perform installations at locations convenient for customers.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers during the installation process.
• Accurately complete all relevant installation documentation.
• Provide exceptional customer service in line with company standards.
• Identify and request additional resources as needed to complete installations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience as an auto electrician, motor mechanic, or in installing tracking devices, vehicle accessories, or alarms.
• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• National Technical Certificate in Automotive Electronics or Motor Mechanics (advantageous).
• Valid drivers license (minimum 12 months).
• Computer literacy.
• Strong communication and administrative skills.
• Proven fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
