Insurance Estimator (Xactimate) - EST Hours (Remote)

ISTA Personnel Solutions is a global BPO company proudly partnering with a U.S. based client in the Environmental Services sector. We’re looking for a reliable and self-motivated team member with Xactimate experience to assist with the creation and revision of insurance estimates. If you thrive in a remote environment, have excellent attention to detail, and are confident in your ability to work independently, this role is for you.

PLEASE NOTE:

• Working Hours: Aligned with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) Monday to Friday. (15h00pm to midnight South African time, however these hours are subject to change depending on daylight savings).
• Work Environment: This is a remote role for South African Citizens only.
• Internet Requirements: A fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) and the ability to support a wired Ethernet connection is mandatory. Applicants without a fixed fibre line cannot be considered.
• Power Backup: A reliable power backup solution is required to manage load shedding and power outages. Applicants without a power backup cannot be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create new insurance estimates using Xactimate based on provided data
• Update and revise estimates as needed
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and take initiative on tasks without needing check ins

• Proven experience with Xactimate (especially in mitigation/restoration estimating)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Reliable, self-driven, and responsive
• Solid written and verbal communication abilities

Bonus Points For:

• Experience working with U.S. based restoration or insurance teams
• Familiarity with common insurance claim processes
