Qualifications and Experience required:

• A completed relevant 3 or 4-year technical diploma or degree (Honours or postgraduate degree preferred), or equivalent work experience. 

• Strong proficiency in Java (SE/EE) and object-oriented programming principles

• Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture

• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL)

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Proficient with source control systems such as Git
