Intermediate Test Analyst

This role is responsible for ensuring that the company's payment applications and supporting software meet both functional and non-functional requirements. The Intermediate Test Analyst will lead the planning, development, execution, and documentation of testing activities, using both manual and automated testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse requirements to determine test conditions and prioritise test cases

• Plan test strategies and document test objectives and resources

• Design and execute manual and automated test scripts

• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure responsiveness and stability

• Identify risks and ensure compliance with testing protocols and standards

• Maintain technical documentation aligned with internal policies

• Set up and maintain test environments that replicate production

• Perform fix verification and impact analysis

• Estimate testing efforts for sprint planning and project forecasting

• Provide detailed defect reporting and trend analysis

• Guide and support other testers, ensuring adherence to best practices

• Continuously improve testing strategies and processes

• Lead test automation initiatives and participate in design reviews

• Ensure successful handover from QA to Operations

About You

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a test analyst or QA role

• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing techniques

• Skilled in analyzing system requirements and translating them into test plans

• Familiar with performance/load testing and debugging tools

• Experience working within Agile teams and sprint environments

• Comfortable mentoring junior team members and guiding best practices

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills

• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality software

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
