INTERNAL / COUNTER SALES - EAST LONDON

Job Purpose

To drive internal sales by providing excellent customer service, maintaining product knowledge, and ensuring accurate quoting and invoicing to meet and exceed sales targets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate sales to meet or exceed set targets.

• Deliver customer service in line with company standards.

• Adhere to all branch procedures and instructions.

• Maximise and drive sales through leadership and initiative.

• Represent the company positively through professional customer interactions.

• Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping in the branch.

• Continuously develop and maintain product knowledge.

• Commit to ongoing personal and professional improvement.

• Enhance product knowledge across the branch team and minimise stock losses.

• Accurately prepare customer quotations and process invoices.

Experience and Qualifications

• Grade 12 Senior Certificate.

• 2-3 years of experience in a sales or senior sales position, preferably in the paint or hardware industry.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative team player.

• Neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
