Investment Operations Analyst- Asset Management

• Generating portfolio exposure reports
  
• Managing house-view trade implementation calculations
  
• Managing the cash management function
  
• Generating fund rebalance calculations
  
• Maintaining the counterparty client list
  
• Preparing risk reports for the Investment Executive Committee
  
• Providing backup support for various projects and meetings, and assisting with client requests
  

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

• Completed BCom Finance or similar qualification
  
• Postgraduate qualification (e.g., Honours degree or CFA) is advantageous
  
• Specific knowledge of fixed income instruments, their valuation, and administration
  
• Risk management of fixed income assets and funds
  
• Proficiency in data management systems
  
• Knowledge of financial mathematics and statistics
  
• High-level knowledge of Advanced MS Excel and/or coding skills
  
• Strong analytical skills
  
• High attention to detail
  
• Excellent collaboration, teamwork, planning, and organising skills
  
• Adaptability, self-motivation, discipline, diligence, drive, purpose, initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  
• Preference given to Employment Equity candidates
