Location: Johannesburg (Melrose)
Job Type: Full-time | US Working Hours

Who We Are Recruiting For:

Our client is a South African-backed fibre infrastructure start-up supporting high-speed broadband deployment across the United States. They are establishing a Johannesburg-based operations team to manage backend scheduling and coordination for their growing customer base in the residential sector.


Who You Are:

✔ A skilled coordinator with experience in dispatch, technician scheduling, and service workflows.
✔ Customer-focused with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
✔ Detail-oriented and confident working across multiple systems and platforms.
✔ Proactive in resolving scheduling issues and ensuring follow-through.
✔ Adaptable and comfortable working US hours in a fast-paced team environment.

Your Responsibilities:

✔ Technician Support – Coordinate technician dispatch and manage rescheduling when needed.
✔ Job Tracking – Follow each job to completion and ensure accurate reporting of failed instals.
✔ System Updates – Log all work accurately using operational systems and tracking tools.
✔ Locates & Approvals – Call in and monitor authorizations for internal fibre bury drops.
✔ Coordination – Liaise with contractors and verify invoice completion.
✔ Meetings – Join daily scheduling and operational syncs.
✔ Customer Scheduling – Confirm installation appointments and send reminders via call, text, or email.

Requirements

What You Need:
​
✔ Matric or equivalent qualification
✔ Proficiency with Excel and system-based coordination tools
✔ Minimum 1 -3 years experience in telecom, fibre installation, or similar scheduling environments
✔ Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities
✔ Fluent in spoken English
✔ Comfortable working US time zones (2 PM–11 PM or 3 PM–12 AM)
✔ Must have a stable internet connection, a professional home office setup, and a reliable power supply.
