MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

We are seeking an experienced IT Core Delivery Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic IT projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


This is a 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of annual renewal based on performance and business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS


  • Manage the full project lifecycle from initiation through to implementation and closure.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, providing regular project updates and reporting.

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Drive project governance, quality assurance, and adherence to established methodologies.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.

REQUIRED EDUCATION


  • Prince2 and/or PMBOK certification

  • Project Management Certification 


 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE


  • 5 years project management experience ; with 2 most recent years in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment

  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within core IT delivery environments.

  • Prince2 and/or PMBOK certification, or substantial practical experience applying these methodologies.

  • Demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects and multiple stakeholders.

  • Strong planning, organisational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work independently and drive project outcomes in a collaborative environment.


 

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • MS Office suite (including MS Project and Viso) and other relevant computer software programmes (e.g. Project Portfolio Management software)
  • Prince II and/or PMBOK standards
  • Cost management and budgeting principles
  • Project management principles, processes, tools, techniques and applications
  • Project management and delivery within a larger enterprise project portfolio management context
  • Change management principles and applications
  • Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management
  • Software development cycle
