IT Delivery Manager

Job Description:

Education and Certification:

• • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Relevant certifications, such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals, and others related to specific technologies.

Technical Skills:

• • Microsoft 365:
    • In-depth knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other related services.
    • Ability to implement and manage security features in Microsoft 365.

Firewalls:

• • Expertise in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting firewalls for network security.
  • Familiarity with popular firewall solutions, such as Cisco, Sophos, Mikrotik, or Fortinet.

Desktop Support:

• • Proficiency in providing desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues for both Windows and potentially Mac systems.
  • Knowledge of remote desktop support tools and techniques.

Servers:

• • Experience in managing and maintaining Windows Server environments.
  • Understanding of server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

Cloud Backup:

• • Hands-on experience with cloud backup solutions, such as Azure Backup, AWS Backup, or other third-party backup tools.
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery best practices in cloud environments.

Leadership and Management Skills:

• • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of IT professionals.
  • Ability to set goals, monitor performance, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Communication and Customer Service:

• • Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Customer-centric approach to understand and address client needs and concerns.

Project Management:

• • Project management skills to coordinate and oversee IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

Security Awareness:

• • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Awareness of the latest security threats and the ability to implement security measures to protect client systems.

Adaptability and Continuous Learning:

Vendor Management:

Remote Team Management:
