Job Description - I.T Project Manager


Our client has a requirement for a resource to fulfil the role of I.T Project Manager for the duration of 12 months to lead the implementation of critical IT projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project execution while ensuring alignment with MHSA and OHSA regulations through close collaboration with ISNet staff. This role involves integrating various stakeholders, providing regular feedback to project sponsors, and ensuring project milestones are achieved on time and within scope. The IT Project Manager will be accountable for developing project documentation, creating IT dashboards to track performance metrics, managing multiple project resources, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

 

The successful candidate will therefore drive the project implementation with above in mind.

Further to that the individual will have to:



  • Work closely with ISNet staff to implement the MHSA and OHSA into the software.


  • Integrate all relevant stakeholders in the project.


  • Have regular feedback meetings with project sponsors.


 

Standards and Process Documentation:



  • Responsible for defining the required project documentation from project initiation through project closure.


  • Responsible for developing IT dashboards for tracking performance against IT metrics and benchmarks on a monthly basis


  • Responsible for tracking IT goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).


 

Incident & Investigations:



  • Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency, able to listen and can use this information to solve problems, anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations.


  • Must take accountability and responsibility for your actions.


  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.


  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


  • Maintains the highest level of customer service, creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand.


  • Identify and evaluate complex business and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement.


 

Design:



  • Oversee demand management; prioritization, scheduling, resourcing, and tracking of initiatives in collaboration with leadership & key stakeholders, alerting management of potential risks & opportunities.


  • Managing Project Resources


  • Resource requirements forecasting


  • Coordinate IT department resources so that required technical work is delivered at high quality and on time.


  • Resource balancing (capacity versus demand)


  • Track IT resources according to the “Project and Resource Alignment” and report on resource availability as needed.


 

Work:



  • Responsible for managing the project intake process and working with the IT bucket leaders to ensure that projects are being prioritized and tracked appropriately.


  • Responsible for tracking IT time sheet compliance and providing management with the tools necessary to identify resources trends, project hours, and compliance.


  • Responsible for working with the IT project sponsors to ensure that projects are closed in accordance with the company's policy and procedures.







Requirements

Qualifications & Experience



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or equivalent


  • 3- 5 year of IT Applications or OT Applications management experience


  • Demonstrated experience with contractor and supplier information management system to ensure that contracted services support both safe facility operations and the company’s process safety and personal safety performance goals.


  • Strong organization and coordination skills


  • Demonstrated experience in developing project strategies and managing complex projects from initiation to completion


  • Excellent communication skills, strong relationship builder


  • Must be a results-oriented motivator with a “can-do” attitude, strong customer support abilities


  • Must be a problem solver with varying degrees of complexity


 

Additionally:



  • Has worked for a multinational company and is able to work effectively with different cultures


  • You are able to influence your stakeholders, and have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
