IT Systems Administrator

A leading treasury solutions company in South Africa is in search for a young dynamic Systems Administrator.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Azure-based infrastructure, including Azure VMs, firewalls, NSG policies, and storage accounts.

Additionally, the candidate will play a key role in Desktop support for end-users and to international clients to assist implementations of our Management System.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain Azure infrastructure, including Azure VMs, firewalls, NSG policies, and storage accounts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure services and infrastructure.
• Optimize Azure environment post-migration to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Provide desktop support for end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth operation.
• Installation and maintenance of Treasury Management System IT2
• Working with international vendor and their clients to manage implementations of IT2.
• Setting up connectivity between customers and banks, including SFTP and API connectivity.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in IT, with a focus on Azure environments.
• Proficiency in managing Azure VMs, firewalls, NSG policies, and storage.
• Preferred certifications in Azure (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate).
• Experience with VDI solutions, particularly Parallels RAS, is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
