Jnr.Project Manager

Job Purpose:

To support the successful planning, coordination, and execution of
projects by assisting the Project Manager in ensuring projects are delivered on
time, within budget, safely, and to required quality standards

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
  
• National Diploma or B Degree in Electrical Engineering (Compulsory)
  
• Project Management Qualification (Minimum NQF Level 6)
  
• Project Management accreditation.(​SACPCMP and/or PMP)
  

Experience:

• 3 -5 years project engineering or management in industrial project
  
• 3 + years of  project experience and plant maintenance or installations work in Construction or Electrical/Engineering Industry
  
• 2 years’ experience in Design, Electrical & Project Engineering
  

Requirements

• Project management knowledge
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
  
• Project management tools (CAD and MS Projects)
  
• Contracts Management (FIDIC, GCC, NEC, JBCC)
  

• Communication at multiple levels
  
• Resource management
  
• Problem solving
  
• Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to
  perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special
  language skills where there is a business need)
  
• Work effectively in diverse team environment.
  
• Able to work in a fast -paced environment.
  
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required.
  
• Good communication skills, verbal and written, required.
  
• Ability to meet short - and long -term deadlines.
  
• Ability to work regularly and dependably.
  
• Ability to function in a team environment.
  
• Demonstrated ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and
  cooperative temperament with internal and external customers
