Junior Draughtsman

​

We are looking for a self-motivated junior draughtsman who can work alongside several specialists in our company.

Responsible for creating technical drawings based on given specifications and calculations.

You will form part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Modify or create detailed part and assembly drawings in 2D or 3D.
  


• Reverse engineering of samples provided by customers and implement it in a 2D or 3D drawing.
  


• Liaise with sale engineers or customers for any information or design changes.
  


• Support customers and suppliers with technical requirements.
  


• Provide technical support to the various departments of the company (quality, production and sales).
  


• Modifying or compiling bills of materials on the ERP system.
  


• Ensuring final design is compliant with required standard/s.
  


• Providing engineering support to various departments and with suppliers on new projects.
  

Requirements

• Draughting qualification.
  


• Minimum 2 years’ experience in electrical and/or mechanical draughting.
  


• Minimum 2 years’ experience using SolidWorks.
