Junior Field Guide

• Guided Experiences: Conduct interpretive morning and afternoon game drives, showcasing the area's rich biodiversity, including the Big Five, diverse birdlife, and unique geology.
  
• Guest Hosting: Host guests warmly at meals and during down-time, sharing insights into conservation, tracking, and the unique ecology of the Waterberg.

  Adhere strictly to reserve ethical guiding codes, prioritize guest safety at all times, and assist with basic lodge/vehicle care.
• Children's Activities: Assist with specialized eco-educational activities or family safaris when required.
  

Requirements

• Qualifications: NQF2 /
  
• Registrations & Licenses: Valid DEAT/CATHSSETA registration, valid PDP (Public Driver’s Permit), and a valid First Aid certificate.
  
• Firearms: AR (Advanced Rifle Handling) qualification is highly advantageous.
  
• Experience: 6 months to 2 years of experience in a commercial lodge environment (hospitality-focused) is preferred, but passionate newly qualified candidates with excellent hosting skills will be considered.
  
• Traits: Exceptional interpersonal skills, fluent English, an immaculate professional presentation, and a genuine love for remote bush living.
