Junior Process Engineer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The main purpose of this position is for testing, integrating, and deploying software components to ensure seamless operations across business systems. 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows, but not limited to:

• Test, integrate, and deploy software components in alignment with business requirements on the production floor.


• Identify, document, and communicate software errors/bugs to developers for timely resolution.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration.


• Ensure PCI (Payment Card Industry Standards) compliance when performing system integration and testing.


• Machine Software Configurations: Planning, implementing, and optimizing personalization machine configurations to ensure smooth personalization operations on Matica S7000, S5200LX etc.


• Production Software: Installing and maintaining personalization software like UPP, Barnes (EMV chip testing) to support and improve personalization processes and ensure customer SLAs are adhered to.


• Shop Floor Processes: Analyzing and optimizing shop floor processes to increase efficiency and productivity.


• Quality Assurance: Ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing continuous improvement measures.


• Documentation: Creating and maintaining process documentation, work instructions, and technical specifications.


• Collaboration: Working closely with internal departments such as production, IT, and quality assurance, global functions, as well as external partners and suppliers.


• Training: Conducting training sessions and workshops for employees on any new production software/tools.


• Ensure compliance with all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and company policies.

MINIMUM ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree in Industrial/Electronic/Computer Science Engineering (not Chemical).

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years' proven work experience in a similar environment.


• Basic SQL.


• Understanding of software testing in UAT/Pre-Prod and production environments.


• Proactive approach to problem-solving and solution design.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Team-oriented mindset with ability to collaborate across departments.


• Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
