Job Summary

Technology Stack: Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SSMS tool and T-SQL (queries, stored procedures, functions). Basic Power BI knowledge is required. Should have basic knowledge of Hadoop technologies & ecosystem. Experience in Python is added advantage.

Data skills: Hand-on in ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, database concepts.

 

Job Description

• Experienced developer with SSIS, and handling SSIS package and projects

• SSIS skillset: Should be able to design, develop, test, and deploy complex SSIS packages for ETL and data migration, ensuring scalability and best practices.

• Collaboration with business: Should work with business users to gather requirements and translate those into technical solutions.

• Performance tuning: Should be able to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in existing SSIS package, long-running queries, and deadlocks.

• Production support: Should be able to troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing SSIS packages and related SQL Server databases in PROD/non-PROD environments.

• Testing: Perform Unit testing, Sanity testing and System testing. Work with UAT users for testing and handling end-to-end process.

• Data Quality: Should be able to implement error handling, logging, auditing, and data validation techniques in application/project

• Documentation: Should create and maintain documentation for all phases of project.

• Communication: Should have excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
