Junior Purchasing Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Purchasing Manager to ensure operational efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and discern purchasing requirements.
• Track orders and guarantee punctual delivery.
• Conduct market research to identify pricing trends.
• Assess supplier offers and negotiate favourable terms.
• Identify and on board suppliers to enhance profitability and streamline operations.
• Prepare comprehensive cost analyses.
• Manage invoice and contract documentation.
• Foster positive relationships with vendors and oversee their activities.
• Coordinate with receiving and warehouse personnel to ensure product quality and accuracy in shipments.

Requirements:

• Preferably possess previous experience in hospitality procurement.
• Proficient in purchasing software and computer applications.
• Exceptional communication and organisational abilities.
• Strong aptitude for negotiation and analysis.
• Fluent in both German and English.
