Job Description - Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist

What You Can Expect:

Key Responsibility Areas:

  • HR screening and selecting of potential applicants (1st and 2nd interviews)
  • The one point of contact with the recruitment agencies
  • Send weekly updates and constant feedback with the recruitment agencies
  • Set up all interviews with the relevant managers
  • Provide job specs and communication to preferred recruitment agencies on available vacancies
  • Assist and manage website page and current online portal
  • Update the web pages on a regular basis and ensure that the expired positions are removed
  • Screening of CV’s and providing feedback to agencies and candidates
  • Setup relevant tests for screening process
  • Induction for all GCoE staff
  • Save all copies of relevant paperwork in the payroll folders for the Payroll Officer
  • Submission of medical aid transfer, new applications, and addition of dependants to be given to Payroll Manager / Payroll Officer upon new employee’s first day
  • Collect, capture and follow-up on performance appraisals on a bi-annual basis for all GCoE staff
  • Assist with all talent acquisition projects for the GCoE
  • Assist HR / payroll team on projects
  • Telephonic confirmation of employment

What You Bring:

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Matric or Senior Certification equivalent
  • HR Degree / Diploma Advantageous
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Human Resources environment
  • Extensive Recruitment Knowledge
  • MS Office skills
