Job Description - Junior Tier 3 Technical Support Specialist

As a Regional Tier 3 Junior Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in addressing complex technical challenges and delivering advanced support for our energy management solutions. Your primary focus will be on diagnosing and resolving intricate issues related to renewable and traditional energy systems to ensure optimal performance and exceptional client satisfaction.

Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven digital solutions for site monitoring and management is advantageous.

Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated experience in a technical support role, ideally within the energy sector.
  • In-depth understanding of energy management systems, renewable energy technologies, and energy storage solutions.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and techniques to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Preferred Industries:

  • ICT / Engineering / Energy

Technical Proficiencies:

  • Fully proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Skilled in troubleshooting power equipment on-site.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will undertake the following responsibilities, among others:

  • Deliver advanced technical support for energy management, generation, and storage systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues from Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
  • Conduct detailed diagnostics and performance analysis to address system challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate technical solutions.
  • Stay informed on client products, services, industry trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides and best practices.
  • Perform on-site client visits for technical support and system optimization when required.
  • Mentor and train Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams to enhance their technical capabilities.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of technical issues to uphold high client satisfaction levels.
