Laboratory Analyst

WHAT IS ON OFFER

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for Laboratory Analysts to join the team in Richards Bay. This role is responsible for ensuring that work is followed according to documented methods and procedures. Ensuring at all times that high accuracy and precision is applied to methods and procedures through incorporating and promoting Good Laboratory Practice Principles. 

Please note: This is a fixed term contract for 6 months.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE  

Required Competencies

• Ability to communicate information both written and verbally

• Computer Literacy and knowledge of LIMS system

• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills


• Basic knowledge and understanding of ISO17025 requirements.


• Basic knowledge of analytical method development and validation knowledge


• Honest, Sober Habits, Adaptable and Flexibility


• No criminal record

Required qualifications 

• Analytical Chemistry Certificate/Diploma


• Basic Knowledge of ISO 17025:2017

Required work experience

• Minimum 2 years of Analytical Laboratory experience with XRF Fused Bead sample preparation and XRF operation for Minerals and Coal Analysis.
