Lead Conversion Specialist for Credit Services (US-Remote)

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that connects talented professionals with high-growth companies. We are currently hiring a Lead Conversion Specialist for Credit Services for a fast-growing U.S. credit services company that helps consumers address potential issues affecting their credit reports.

This is a high-impact, revenue-generating role for a persuasive and emotionally intelligent sales professional who knows how to turn warm inbound leads into qualified appointments and closed deals.

You will own the entire lead journey—from the moment an inquiry comes in through qualification, nurturing, appointment setting, and eventually closing. This is not a scripted call-center position. We are looking for someone who sounds natural, builds genuine trust, thinks critically, and knows how to guide everyday consumers toward the right solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full inbound lead intake and sales process from initial contact through closing.
• Respond to new leads immediately through phone calls, text messages, email, Slack, and automated follow-up campaigns.
• Conduct qualification calls to understand each prospect’s situation and determine whether their credit report concerns meet the company’s criteria.
• Identify and filter out unqualified leads using established qualification guidelines.
• Build rapport with potential clients and clearly explain the company’s services and next steps.
• Consistently nurture leads through timely and personalized follow-ups.
• Schedule qualified prospects for consultations with attorneys or the appropriate internal team.
• Progress toward independently closing qualified opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of conversations, qualification results, follow-ups, and outcomes.
• Remain highly responsive during working hours and monitor Slack and incoming lead channels in real time.
• Help develop sales scripts, qualification criteria, follow-up sequences, and intake best practices.
• Provide feedback on lead quality, recurring objections, and opportunities to improve conversion rates.
• Meet or exceed appointment-setting, conversion, and revenue targets.

• Proven experience in sales, particularly lead nurturing, follow-up, appointment setting, and closing.
• Experience managing warm or inbound consumer leads through a full sales cycle.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Natural, confident, and consultative communication style.
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust quickly.
• Strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to make sound judgment calls regarding lead quality.
• Comfortable discussing sensitive financial or credit-related concerns with consumers.
• Highly organized and consistent with follow-ups.
• Able to work independently in a fast-moving, early-stage environment.
• Comfortable helping build processes when formal systems or a fully developed CRM are not yet in place.
• Able to remain active and responsive on Slack throughout the workday.
• Availability to work during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.
