Legal & Regulatory Specialist

An international financial services business is looking for a sharp, detail -driven Legal & Regulatory Specialist to support its in -house legal and compliance function.

This role suits a paralegal or junior lawyer who enjoys keeping complex regulatory wheels turning behind the scenes - licensing, reporting, monitoring, and legal operations - in a fast -moving, global environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Supporting legal and compliance operations across multiple jurisdictions
  
• Managing regulatory licences, renewals, and ongoing reporting
  
• Coordinating documentation, contracts, filings, and legal records
  
• Assisting with regulatory reviews, audits, and information requests
  
• Monitoring compliance activity (transaction monitoring, sanctions, PEPs, registers)
  
• Supporting data protection processes and internal compliance training
  
• Conducting legal and regulatory research and summarising key requirements
  

Requirements

• Strong academic grounding with practical legal exposure
  
• 3+ years’ experience in legal, compliance, or regulatory roles (financial services, fintech, or legal environments)
  
• Looking to build hands -on experience in an in -house legal environment
  
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
  
• Confident juggling multiple priorities and deadlines
  
• Solid tech skills (Google Workspace, MS Office, AI tools)
