Live-In Guest House Manager

An upmarket and distinguished guest house is seeking an experienced Live-In Guest House Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest satisfaction. This hands-on role involves managing all key departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, front office, reservations, food & beverage, and events.

Reporting directly to the business owners, the successful candidate will be responsible for the smooth running of a 14+ bedroom property with exciting potential for restaurant and event offerings.

• Ensure a welcoming, professional, and personalised experience for all guests throughout their stay.
  

• Supervise daily housekeeping operations to maintain high cleanliness and presentation standards.
  

• Oversee regular maintenance and repairs of the property, ensuring facilities are in excellent working order.
  

• Manage check-ins, check-outs, guest communications, and all booking/reservation processes.
  

• Lead, train, and manage a small team across departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  

• Provide regular operational updates to the business owners and ensure clear communication on issues, progress, and opportunities.
  

• Ensure health, safety, and guest service standards are maintained in line with hospitality best practices.
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar guest house or boutique hotel management role
  
• Strong leadership and operational coordination across departments
  
• Passion for hospitality and delivering a high-quality guest experience
