Lodge Manager & Admin / Accounts Couple | Luxury Lodge | KwaZulu-Natal

Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Lodge Manager & Admin / Accounts Couple for a luxury lodge located in KwaZulu-Natal. This is an excellent opportunity for a couple with strong operational, guest-facing, and administrative experience to join a high-end hospitality environment.

Salary: R40,000 â R50,000

Accommodation: Live-in position

Key Responsibilities

Lodge Manager

â¢ Oversee day-to-day lodge operations with a strong focus on guest experience

â¢ Anticipate guest needs and ensure personalised, high-end service delivery

â¢ Manage and support lodge staff, ensuring strong team performance and morale

â¢ Oversee the Head Chef with a focus on quality control and consistency

â¢ Ensure smooth coordination between all lodge departments

â¢ Maintain operational standards in line with luxury hospitality expectations

â¢ Assist with food and beverage stock control and ordering processes

Admin / Accounts

â¢ Manage lodge administration and support operational requirements

â¢ Handle reservations and ensure accurate guest billing and account checks

â¢ Assist with basic financial processes (no heavy accounting required)

â¢ Work with systems such as Pastel and reservation/accounting platforms

â¢ Ensure accuracy in guest accounts and daily financial reconciliation

â¢ Support stock takes and purchasing processes where required

Requirements

â¢ 5â10 yearsâ experience in a luxury lodge or hospitality environment

â¢ Strong guest service orientation with the ability to âreadâ guests

â¢ Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with staff

â¢ Solid administrative skills with attention to detail

â¢ Experience with reservations systems and guest billing processes

â¢ Working knowledge of Pastel and lodge accounting systems advantageous

â¢ Hands-on, practical approach with initiative and common sense

â¢ Strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences
