They are known for delivering exceptional service, tailored itineraries and seamless travel coordination across some of Africa’s most exclusive destinations.

About the Role
The Luxury Travel Coordinator / Sales Assistant will support the Sales Team within the Latin America Division by assisting with availability checks, proposal preparation, provisional bookings, itinerary coordination and administrative support.
This role is suited to a highly organised, detail -orientated individual with a passion for luxury travel, excellent communication skills and the ability to work accurately in a fast -paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Availability and Proposal Support
  • Check availability with suppliers and manage postponements where required.
  • Assist the Sales Team with creating bespoke travel proposals based on client requirements.
  • Liaise with Operations to finalise itineraries and general travel arrangements.
  • Maintain strong product knowledge to suggest suitable alternatives when availability is limited.
  • Take initiative when itinerary changes are required.
  • Assist with the creation of professional presentation itineraries when needed.
Booking Management
  • Provisionally book services based on availability checks.
  • Ensure all financial information, booking details and reference numbers are accurately recorded on the relevant system.
  • Release provisional bookings that are not proceeding.
  • Verify that all confirmed bookings align with internal systems and processes.
  • Submit handover files from the Sales Team to Accounts.
Administrative Support
  • Keep client invoices and related documentation up to date.
  • Assist with final travel documents.
  • Support the Sales and Operations Teams with ad hoc administrative duties.
  • Communicate professionally with suppliers and internal departments.
  • Ensure all booking information is accurate, complete and delivered within required timeframes.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar travel, tourism, sales support or coordination role.
Relevant diploma or degree will be advantageous.
Previous experience within a luxury travel agency, tour operator or high -end travel environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of luxury African lodges, destinations and high -end travel products.
Fluency in English is required.
Portuguese or Spanish language skills will be advantageous.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure.
Proactive approach with strong problem -solving abilities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Knowledge of Travelyst or other travel -related systems will be advantageous.

Benefits

Salary of R21,600 per month.
18 days’ annual leave.
Medical aid benefit of R1,000 per month after successful completion of probation.
Hybrid working arrangement, with office attendance required on Mondays and Thursdays.
The successful candidate will be required to work from the office five days per week during the initial one to two weeks for training and onboarding. The exact duration will depend on how quickly the candidate onboards.
Street parking is available.
Employees who drive to work receive a parking allowance.
Incentive scheme based on divisional profitability.
