Job Description - Maintenance Assistant - student accommodation

The main purpose of this position is to handle the maintenance and facilities of a Student Accommodation building based in Johannesburg.

Undertake maintenance as required by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager
Ensure that all maintenance work is affected diligently and with the appropriate skill
That all work done is affected at the right standard
That all work done is left clean and in good condition
That all maintenance matters are reported to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager

Requirements

Matric
1 -3 years experience as a residential/ commercial Handyman/ Maintenance Assistant
You will be required to be on stand -by and on -call on the weekends and after -hours in the event of an emergency or as otherwise required by the Facilities and Maintenance Manager;
