Manager: Humanities and Social Sciences

Key Responsibilities

• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting systems to monitor the impact of HSS initiatives.
  

• Embed organisational frameworks as core strategic elements, aligning activities with broader organisational goals.
  

• Establish systems for data collection and impact reporting.
  

• Identify opportunities for collaboration and alignment with external partners.
  

• Work closely with senior leaders to promote interdisciplinary initiatives.
  

• Engage with key stakeholders to identify and respond to emerging needs in HSS activities.
  

• Contribute to the planning, development, and execution of strategic organisational programmes.
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• PhD in Humanities or Social Sciences (required)
  

• Postgraduate management qualification (advantageous)
  

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in professional or academic environments, with at least 5 years in a mid - to senior management role
  

• Experience in developing policies, procedures, and performance frameworks
  

• Proven experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including directors, managers, and academic leaders
