We are currently supporting a public research and innovation institution with the identification of senior -level candidates for a Manager: Humanities & Social Sciences role.

This position sits at the intersection of research infrastructure, national innovation systems, policy alignment, and impact measurement, and is suited to candidates with deep experience in higher education, science councils, government, or research environments.

Key focus areas include:

• Strategic integration of Humanities & Social Sciences within research infrastructure

• Impact frameworks, KPIs, and reporting

• Stakeholder engagement across the National System of Innovation

• Trans disciplinary research enablement

• Policy, strategy, and programme oversight

Minimum requirements:

• PhD in Humanities and/or Social Sciences

• 8+ years’ experience within the National System of Innovation

• Proven mid - to senior -management experience

• Strong strategic, leadership, and stakeholder engagement capability

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years working within the NSI (e.g. Higher Education, Science Councils, Government), 5 of which must have been in a mid - to senior management position
  
• Experience in developing policies and procedures
  
• Experience in interacting with senior individuals within the HSS community (e.g. HSS researchers, HSS professoriate, HSS deans, Science Council senior managers/directors).
