Job Description

Accountability: Business‑As‑Usual (BAU) Process Management

• Manage daily BAU Market Risk operational processes to ensure accurate, timely, and stable output.

• Monitor workflows, identify exceptions, and resolve issues efficiently to maintain risk reporting integrity.

• Maintain documentation for all processes to support continuity and operational resilience.

Accountability: Technology Infrastructure Support

• Support key Market Risk and Markets platforms including Front Arena, Front Cache, Mopane, and Time Series technical environments.

• Work closely with Technology partners to troubleshoot system issues, manage enhancements, and ensure infrastructure stability.

• Perform impact assessments and validation after upgrades or configuration changes.

Accountability: Data and Risk Metrics Quality Assurance

• Oversee the quality, accuracy, and integrity of Market Risk data inputs, transformations, and outputs.

• Ensure underlying time series and data feeds are consistent, complete, and aligned to risk metric calculations.

• Identify upstream/downstream data dependencies and initiate corrective actions where required.

Accountability: Analysis and Problem Solving

• Conduct detailed root‑cause analysis for complex Market Risk issues and communicate findings clearly in an aggregated and understandable manner.

• Offer practical process‑driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and improve operational robustness.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, design, and implement process improvements.

• Participate in Market Risk infrastructure and process improvement projects according to priority set by business stakeholders.

• Support requirement gathering, testing, implementation, and post‑go‑live monitoring for project initiatives.
