Marketing and Strategy Executive FMCG

Senior role heading up the marketing dept with Food company.

Develop company strategic plan. Develop strategic product portfolio plans. Develop annual marketing plan incorporating key portfolio plans. Develop and implement promotional and collateral material in support of the marketing plan.Manage the marketing budgets for assigned projects. Maintain the marketing intelligence / database necessary for supporting the planning process. Maintain constant communication with Sales teams on assigned marketing activities. Drive new product development.

Manage the day-to-day business by:

Reviewing actual vs plan; analysing data and making recommendations.

Pricing management - financial analysis including market analysis, competitive analysis; costs and portfolio; make recommendations.

Coordinating with the sales channels to update POS material; coordinate with the sales channels on programs and promotions.

Work with other departments on forecasting; use of input from sales, NPD to provide accurate forecasting data and making recommendations.

Manage the product life cycle make rationalization and range modification suggestions to the business.

Grow and develop the marketing team.

Manage and report on the marketing spend budget.

Drive company internal marketing.

Develop mutually beneficial and sound working relationships across the organization, especially Sales, Research and development.

Essential pre-requisites required:

Bachelors Degree majoring in Marketing or related field

Min 8-10 years experience in Marketing field

Minimum 5 years marketing management experience with top FMCGD companies.

PC proficiency

Knowledge of marketing theory

Good interpersonal skills

Understanding of product commercialization process

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Good reporting skills

Good customer service skills

Communication skills - presentation ability
