Marketing Production Lead

As the in-house agency Production Lead, you will ensure the seamless execution of content and creative projects from receipt of brief to asset delivery. You will collaborate closely with the agency team and internal clients to optimise workflow, improve efficiency, and maintain quality standards. You are the ideal candidate if you’re a process-savvy strategic thinker with exceptional organisational skills and a passion for driving service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to streamline content and creative operations, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Allocate team members effectively, to maximise productivity and meet project objectives.
• Work closely with the Traffic Manager and wider agency team to plan and prioritise projects, establish timelines, and track progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Foster collaboration and communication between the agency and internal clients to facilitate smooth handoffs and ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
• Enforce quality standards for content and creative output, conducting regular reviews and providing feedback to ensure deliverables meet brand guidelines and client expectations.
• Monitor time spent on projects, identifying opportunities for optimising efficiencies while ensuring the highest level of quality and deliverability.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential risks and obstacles that may impact project timelines or deliverables, proactively identifying solutions to keep projects on track.
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating, and implementing tools and systems to enhance processes and productivity.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Key attributes and competencies

• 4-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• A degree in commerce, marketing, or similar.

• Based in Cape Town.

Requirements

• Proficiency in MS Office 365, Google Docs, Asana or similar, and Microsoft Teams.

• Experience in developing and implementing efficient workflows and processes to streamline agency operations.
• Ability to allocate personnel effectively, and to ensure schedules are set and tasks prioritised as needed.
