Key Output

• Perform Technical Analysis and troubleshoot machine systems. Carry out Technical Analysis and repairs on Earthmoving Equipment in a workshop or on customer sites

• Ensure safe work practice

• Quickly and efficiently deal with all machine inspections, analysis and breakdowns

• Compile accurate customer machine analysis and reports including Machine Inspection Reports (MIR) and Technical Analysis Reports (TA 2)

• Maintain professional image when representing BWE on customer site

• Maintain service or TA vehicle and equipment (tools), including specialised TA tooling

• Control Contamination, Effective self‐management and performance ownership

• Coach others (one‐on‐one or in a group)

• Control own administration (labour booking, service reports, parts returned, expenses etc)

Qualification, Experience and Competencies

• Qualified in relevant trade (Heavy / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) – “Red Seal” [HEM / EEM Trade test

• Extensive experience , minimum 7 years Caterpillar experience,

• Minimum 5 years in BWE after qualification of which 3 in a field service environment) and be able to coach other mechanics (one-on-one).
