Job Requirements:

•N6 in mechanical engineering and Matric certificate

•5 years’ experience as a turf level mechanic on a golf course

•Mechanical maintenance on all maintenance equipment on a Golf course.

•The equipment maintained requires knowledge of petrol, diesel, 2-stroke and hydraulic pumps/motors as well as knowledge of automatic transmissions, brake systems, clutches, tires, drive shafts, fuel pumps, carburetors, reel grinding and back lapping.

•Must be able to understand instructions and communicate in English. 

•Duties require working on rotating weekends

•Able to move heavy objects using lifts and chain lifts in order to perform duties.

•Must possess a valid SA driver’s license. 

Starting Salary:

•Market-related salary
