Job Description:

Responsibilities:

- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed

- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies

- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow

- Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation

- Communicate with patients and their families in a professional and compassionate manner

- Assist with office tasks such as answering phones, filing, and completing insurance forms

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities

- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide the best possible care for patients

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience

- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in basic computer skills

- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if needed
