The role:              WKC is currently working on some of the largest infrastructure projects on the planet. We are seeking Senior ESIA Consultants with a background in IFC General EHS and Performance Standards, and at least 5 years of international ESIA experience working with lenders, particularly on renewable energy and large infrastructure projects. The successful candidates will work closely with our clients and project teams to ensure that projects comply with national and international environmental and social standards, as well as best practices. The role involves overseeing and coordinating ESIA studies and providing technical guidance to project teams.

Candidate Requirements / Skills:

• Minimum of a BSc in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or a related field


• At least 5 years of experience in the field of ESIA


• Project Management


• Experience in working with IFC General EHS and Performance Standards


• International ESIA experience, particularly on renewable energy projects


• Experience working with lenders, such as international finance institutions


• Excellent understanding of international environmental and social standards and regulations


• Strong technical knowledge of ESIA methodologies and tools


• Ability to lead and manage ESIA studies and teams.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Willingness to travel and work on short-term assignments abroad.


• Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.


• Valid driver’s license
