InfyStrat is looking for a skilled Migration Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in our data migration initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the migration of data and applications from legacy systems to modern platforms. You will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that migrations are completed efficiently, minimizing downtime and data loss. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of migration methodologies, tools, and best practices, along with excellent problem-solving skills. Responsibilities

• Plan and execute data migrations, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data during the process.
• Analyze existing systems and recommend optimal migration strategies based on business requirements.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, including timelines and milestones.
• Collaborate with technical teams to configure and deploy migration tools and software.
• Monitor and troubleshoot migration issues, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure all aspects of the migration align with business objectives.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data migration and cloud technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data migration or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data migration techniques and tools.
• Experience with database management systems (SQL, Oracle, etc.) and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
