Job Purpose:

The Sales, Marketing & Business Development Manager is accountable for defining

and executing the company’s commercial growth strategy across products, markets, and

territories. The role provides strategic leadership to Sales Engineers and Sales

Administrators, ensuring alignment between sales execution, marketing initiatives,

and business development objectives. The Manager owns revenue growth, market

expansion, key account strategy, brand positioning, and commercial governance,

while ensuring ethical conduct and sustainable profitability

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement the company’s sales, marketing, and business development strategy.


• Set revenue targets, market priorities, and sales objectives by product and region.


• Lead, coach, and manage Sales Engineers and Sales Administration resources.


• Approve sales strategies, tender positioning, pricing frameworks, and discount authorities.


• Own key account strategies, blue-chip client targeting, and long-term client relationships.


• Direct marketing strategy, brand positioning, product launches, and go-tomarket plans.


• Oversee agent strategies, regional representation, and global market expansion.


• Review and approve major tenders, contracts, and commercial risks.


• Provide strategic market feedback to executive management for product development and investment decisions.


• Ensure governance, ethical conduct, and compliance with policies and standards.

Qualifications & experience:

• BEng / BSc Electrical, mechanical, chemical, Metallurgical, Civil Engineering


• 10 years experience in a Sales Engineering capacity, ideally with 2 years plus management experience
