I have an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven Finance Administrator who enjoys working with numbers, keeping finances organised and making a meaningful contribution?  You'll play a key role in keeping the institute's finances running smoothly, from budgeting and grant administration to financial reporting and day-to-day financial operations.

What you'll be doing

• Managing departmental funds, monitoring expenditure and preparing financial reports.


• Supporting budget preparation, financial planning and grant applications.


• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports for external funders.


• Processing expenses, timesheets, purchase orders and petty cash.


• Monitoring budgets, identifying discrepancies and ensuring accurate financial records.


• Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to resolve outstanding payments and deliveries.

What we're looking for

• Matric with bookkeeping, accounting or mathematics; a tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance.


• At least 3 years' experience in financial administration.


• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and previous budgeting experience.


• Experience with Forex would be an advantage.


• Strong Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
