Do you thrive on turning complex financial operations into clean, accurate numbers leadership can trust? We're looking for an experienced Financial Manager to take full ownership of the accounts function across a busy, multi-entity operation.

You'll take end-to-end responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash, fixed assets, inventory and export finance, while leading a team and reporting directly to the Directors. It's a role for someone who wants real ownership, not just oversight.

What you will be doing:

• Managing the full accounts function through to trial balance and balance sheet stage, in line with SA Accounting Practice


• Overseeing accounts payable: creditor reconciliations, supplier management, invoice and PO/GRV sign-off, fleet and telecoms recons


• Overseeing accounts receivable: invoicing, debtors, credit notes, age analysis, DSO management and collections


• Managing cash, petty cash, paycards and the fixed asset register, including depreciation journals


• Supervising inventory control: stock takes, variance reporting, costings and stock code management


• Handling cross-border and forex transactions, including import/export documentation and permits


• Preparing and presenting weekly and monthly financial reports, including income statement and balance sheet


• Managing statutory requirements: Income Tax, VAT and CIPRO


• Liaising with external auditors, lawyers, insurers and banks


• Leading and developing the Accounts department team through regular meetings and performance management

What we are looking for:

• Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g. BCom or equivalent)


• Several years' experience in a senior accounts or financial management role


• Strong working knowledge of SA Accounting Practice and statutory compliance (Income Tax, VAT, CIPRO)


• Experience managing accounts payable, receivable, cash and inventory functions


• Exposure to forex, imports/exports and cross-border transactions


• Proven people management and leadership experience


• Strong reporting and analytical skills


• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
