The Role

You’ll support the finance function across multiple entities, with responsibility spanning core accounting, month -end processes, reporting support, and close interaction with operations.

This role suits an ambitious Accountant who wants exposure, mentorship, and a clear development path.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Capturing and reconciling daily financial transactions across group entities
  

• Preparing journals and supporting month -end close
  

• Maintaining clean, accurate general ledger reconciliations
  

• Prepare monthly management accounts and do variance analysis
  

• VAT, PAYE, and statutory submissions
  

• Processing supplier invoices, payments, and customer receipts
  

• Preparing audit schedules and working with external auditors
  

• Maintaining orderly, audit -ready financial records
  

• Providing financial and operational support directly to the FM & CFO
  

• Mentor and develop debtors and creditors clerks 
  

• Getting involved in ad hoc projects linked to business growth and efficiency
  

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

• Completed SAIPA or CIMA articles (SAICA considered)
  

• BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar
  

• 1–3 years’ experience in an accounting, audit, or finance environment
  

• Comfortable building relationships in a traditional, values -driven business setting
  

• Mature, accountable, and comfortable operating without micromanagement
  

• Keen to be on site, visible, and involved in a manufacturing business
  

• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with accounting systems
  

• High attention to detail and a structured way of working
