OPERATIONS & FINANCE MANAGER - R840k-R720k pa - ATLANTIS

• Oversee the full finance function while playing a strategic role in wider business operations.
  
• Preparing and analysing monthly management accounts, including variance reviews.
  
• Leading cash flow forecasting and the annual budgeting cycle.
  
• Managing statutory compliance (VAT, PAYE, IRP5s, etc.) and ensuring accurate reporting.
  
• Coordinating and finalising external audits, while upholding strong governance practices.
  
• Overseeing Debtors, Costings, and Orders teams, with a focus on development and leadership.
  
• Driving credit control activities, with the Credit Manager reporting into your function.
  
• Supporting sales through collaboration on pricing models, budgets, and forecasts.
  
• Managing relationships with banks, suppliers, and other service providers.
  
• Reviewing margins, manufacturing standard costs, and distribution expenses.
  
• Taking responsibility for IT systems development, procurement, and outsourced IT services.
  
• Overseeing bi-annual stock counts, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  
• Maintaining effective cash management and ensuring suppliers are paid on time.

Requirements

• BCom degree, CIMA or CA(SA), 5+ years of hands-on business experience
  
• Solid working knowledge of Sage Pastel, and WMS advantageous.
  
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and advanced data analysis.
  
• Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of guiding, mentoring, and motivating teams.
  
• Strong commercial awareness, problem-solving mindset, and well-developed negotiation skills.
  
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance financial and business processes.
