Order Picker

Position: Order Picker Company Overview: Venture Resources is a leading provider of logistics and supply chain solutions in Johannesburg South, South Africa. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Order Picker to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking and packing orders for our clients. This role requires a high level of organization and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: - Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently according to company standards - Utilize proper equipment and safety procedures while performing tasks - Maintain a clean and organized work area - Communicate any inventory discrepancies or issues to management - Meet daily production goals and deadlines - Ensure all orders are properly labeled and ready for shipping - Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed - Follow all company policies and procedures Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time - Good communication and teamwork skills - Strong attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment - Familiarity with warehouse equipment and safety protocols - Basic computer skills Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with occasional overtime as needed. The Order Picker will report to the Warehouse Manager.
