Job Description - Patient Liaison & Front Office Coordinator

An established Orthopedic Surgeon is seeking a polished and professional individual to serve as the first point of contact for patients. This role is central to creating a welcoming, seamless experience for patients while ensuring the smooth running of front -office operations. Hybrid: 2 full days in office, very flexible schedule for the rest of the week.

Role Purpose

The Patient Liaison & Front Office Coordinator will manage patient interactions, appointment scheduling, and administrative support with discretion and professionalism. This position requires a mature, service -oriented individual who embodies warmth, efficiency, and excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Engagement

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.

    • Handle patient inquiries with empathy, clarity, and discretion.

    • Manage appointment bookings and follow -ups.

  • Front Office Coordination

    • Oversee the reception area and ensure a professional environment.

    • Maintain patient records and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date.

    • Coordinate communication between patients, the surgeon, and other healthcare providers.

  • Administrative Support

    • Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and basic office administration.

    • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with medical practice standards.


Requirements


  • Previous experience in a front -office, patient liaison, or administrative role (medical practice experience preferred).

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Professional, mature, and polished demeanour.

  • Ability to work independently with flexibility in a hybrid environment.

  • Proficiency in scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, and digital communication tools.

  • Commitment to patient care and discretion in handling sensitive information.
