Payment Network Relationship Manager

This role is responsible for managing and expanding relationships with payment networks to enhance service delivery, optimise transaction performance, and support business growth.

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage and grow relationships with retail and digital payment networks to increase transaction volumes.
• Develop and implement sales strategies in collaboration with payment networks.
• Support the onboarding of new payment networks, working closely with Operations, Finance, and IT.
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of new and existing solutions in partnership with Payment Networks.
• Analyse transaction data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve queries and technical requirements, ensuring smooth operations.
• Stay informed on market trends and competitor activity to refine business strategies.
• Represent our client at industry events, expos, and conferences to strengthen partnerships.
• Work with the marketing team to enhance our client's visibility and engagement with payment networks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification;
• 5-8 years experience in Customer Service, Sales, Technical Solutions, or Marketing within the Payments Industry;
• Experience in Business Development and Scaling Initiatives;
• Strong understanding of the digital environment and product development lifecycle;
• Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools;
• Drivers license, and the ability to travel;
• Fluent in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficial.
